About me
Hi I am a very experienced surface pattern designer - primarily creating wallpapers and fabric repeat patterns for both commercial and residential interiors. I have designs in The Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam, Marriot hotels, Downton Abbey and many other prestigious locations both in Britain and around the world. I hand paint/draw images and manipulate them In Photoshop to create the repeats. I can also create vector designs using illustrator and photoshop when required. I have also created large scale murals for Amazon's Head office and various hotels and restaurants.
I have great communication skills both on the phone and in person and enjoy the challenge of creating a design from an interiors designers brief for a specific location.
On the side I create and deliver workshops about print and digital print for secondary schools and interior industry specialists.
Design is my passion, whether I am creating interior spaces, designing children's wear or wedding dresses. From concept through to finished production - the detail is important, the finish must be perfect.
Previously my jobs involved management of teams up to 20 in a retail environment, becoming a specific training branch - I love to see people reach their full potential.
Creativity needs inspiration and I look to try something new each year as it all informs your creative practice and you meet some incredibly talented people. Currently I am trying ceramics with a little foray into felting.
