I was approached by a new business to produce their identity and functional material. The initial meeting indicated that the business was to have an elegant and serious tone whilst setting the business as approachable and as the name suggests sport orientated. There was no movement on the name, which ultimately made me focus on the enticing typography approach. Once the client was present with 3 options of type based logos, i was ask if I could incorporate the 2 key sport elements golf and 8 ball pool. The client loved a sketch I did at that meeting and ultimately the chosen logo was made digital and the brand was extended through the range of station and business materials. I have completed the building signage, Menu, decor and promotion material need to make the business a great success. The style of advertising has gently changed this summer due to the 2016 Euro Championships, I introduced a simpler vector and type based design whilst keeping true to the dark and contrasting elements used previously. The client is continuously happy with my efforts and I continue to design for him to date.
