Write for Rights is Amnesty International's largest campaign to promote the defense of human rights. This year's campaign is a reminder that the small act of writing can have a big impact: changing lives. Using the universal symbol of the pencil, the campaign highlights real-life situations in which the most basic rights have been violated: from the right to protest, to the right to live in safety, to freedom of the press and the right to a fair trial.
