While demand for talent with disability increased as a result of Shift 20 Initiative’s launch in 2023, there was no ‘ready-made’ talent pool to represent disability. PWD had been excluded as a result of an archaic, and exclusive system. So, we subverted the world’s largest social entertainment platform TikTok, turning it into the world’s first open source casting channel for talent with disability.
