Concept: The “What is Bloomberg?” video captures the dynamic spirit of our culture using the real sound bites of real Bloomberg employees, creating a fast-paced animated narrative designed to attract prospective candidates from around the world.
Creating an animated universe of colorful and quirky particles, viewers are carried at light-speed through a cinema-quality visualization of the vast data, news and information network Bloomberg is known for. As well as the quirky culture that drives employees.
Execution: 64 individually-mastered lines, read by 35 employees in 18 culturally distinct voices, “What is Bloomberg?“ has been translated into 9 different languages and continues to serve as an engaging view into the unexpected world of Bloomberg.
Results: Digital and social reach as of January 2017: 150,000 views on Vimeo, 28,000 views on Facebook, 10,000 views on YouTube: 188,000 total views and growing.
Internal engagement and adoption: Enthusiastic endorsement at every level of the organization, Global HR partners have begun including What is Bloomberg? as part of new hire on-boarding programs, created a rallying cry for existing employees.
