THE NET is a community-driven programme aimed at supporting the transition of homeless folk from off the streets through holistic interventions. This by bridging a critical gap in the community's current approach ––the lack of a 'safe space' for a more effective and meaningful transition. THE NET offers a Hand-Up, not just Hand-Outs ––summed up in this analogy:– "Give a person a fish, and they will eat for the day; teach them how to fish, and they will eat for a lifetime." The sad reality is the COVID pandemic has strangled donor contributions making it increasingly difficult to keep THE NET operative.
