Norden A/S of Denmark chose to bring the Nordbell to A&P Falmouth as they did not have to completely gas-free the vessel to come into the Port, saving them precious time and money. On completion of this minor alongside repair period the Nordbell will be able to commence trading straight away.
This operation is permissible and controlled under A&P’s strict Health and Safety guidelines. Falmouth is one of only a handful of ports in Europe that can offer this service.
NORDEN’s fleet is among the most modern and competitive in the industry and they operate a mix of owned and chartered tonnage - in total 205 dry cargo - (excluding single trip chartered vessels) and tanker vessels. In addition NORDEN has a newbuilding programme with 27 vessels on order (dry cargo 24, tanker 3).
