Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to apply for the role of copywriter, as advertised by Profiles Creative. Please find attached my CV, which details my experience in writing and editing digital content for different audiences and platforms (and managing social media), all for a wide variety of clients and websites. My CV also illustrates my experience in marketing my own business, publishing my own blog in Blogger CMS, as well as my background as a TV script editor and researcher, where I worked with a range of character voices to reach a varied audience, and had to be meticulous in proofreading and fact-checking.

I am looking for a new challenge in digital communications, having now gained a successful record in freelance journalism and web publishing, and managing a broad and diverse workload. I feel that I would be a great asset to your digital agency given my experience in copywriting and editing, and my commitment to learning new things in publishing (both in print and online). I also have a proven track record in driving user engagement within social media - with one of the blogs I write for currently nominated in the prestigious Cosmopolitan Blog Awards. I am eager to use my indepth knowledge of language and digital communication strategies to further my career in an agency environment.
