ABOUT
Having started as an FCP/Adobe editor, I was promoted after 18 months to Senior Editor. I was responsible for a team of six editors and maintaining edit suite standards. I would develop workflows with various areas of the department to improve output as well as troubleshooting software and hardware. In addition, I was partly responsible for the acquisition of post production equipment.
During production I edited match highlights, features, promos and long form documentaries for use on the club's website and television channel, LFC TV. I began on Final Cut Pro 7 but organised training for myself along with my team as we made the transition to Adobe Premiere Pro.
As an important and trusted member of the team I was sent on various worldwide trips to edit on site. This involved a lot of organisation regarding equipment inventories, portable servers and considering potential workflow issues. My camera skills were also appreciated, frequently shooting interviews and b-roll for LFC's output. During match days I would work on the outside broadcasts, usually as an ENG editor, but would sometimes be required to work with the EVS operator, cutting match analysis and break bumpers.
