These Self Help Guides focused on one mental health area at a time. It was important that the information was the main focus so the design was minimalist. The illustration for the figure was decided as these guides were across all cross sections of the local population. Therefore I created an androgynous figure that was neither a specific race that could be perceived by anyone who picks up the guide.

Created for the Public Mental Health team of our Health & Wellbeing Service within the NHS, these handbooks were one of our most successful resources. It wasn't just throughout Greater Manchester but across England the rights to the information and design were bought up and used within those areas.
