What does sound look like?
Nadia-Anne Ricketts the textile designer and artist of BeatWoven creates incredible woven digital art fabrics. By using a bespoke audio software program she translates music into an image revealing geometric patterning -
"Similar to that of a very granulated sound wave, it inspects and discovers the patterns happening within the sound wave."
This information is then fused together harmoniously with traditional silk weaving, creating luxurious fabrics for many uses.
BeatWoven has exhibited at at Harrods for London Design Week, The Southbank Centre and Royal Festival Hall London.
