ABOUT

Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), is a rare, progressive and deadly condition of the heart. Without specific treatment for PAH or complete lung transplantation, it is always fatal. It’s rare and very difficult to find.
Ogilvy Health approached me to create an underwater forgotten world, showing PAH in a way that has never been seen before. Impossible through traditional means the Look Deeper image is built entirely in 3D. Digital sculpting, texture painting, light painting and poly modelling are some of the techniques used.
The execution shows a woman and her life, sinking deeper into the darkness of PAH. The back wall cleverly represents the heart chambers and the echo cardiogram is the light, finally discovering our patient and the world she has been living in.
