For The Visit, I composed the full original score and created all sound design for a short film inspired by the 1996 IRA bombing of Manchester. Written and produced by Paul Ludden and directed by Jake Murray, the film explores the lasting emotional and psychological impact of an unresolved act of violence. My role was to build a sonic world that could support both the tension of the subject matter and the intimacy of the drama. Through original music and detailed sound design, I helped shape the tone, atmosphere and emotional weight of the film. The Visit went on to win Best Short Film at the Liverpool Shorts Independent International Film Festival 2023 and was also a finalist at the Rome Prisma Film Awards.
