For Harper Thursday and the Magic Lantern, I wrote all songs for the production, composed the orchestral arrangements, and handled the full music production process from recording through to mixing, mastering and backing track creation. I also delivered the show’s sound design, ran QLab, and acted as Musical Director across the project. The brief called for a bold, Disney-inspired adventure with a wide range of character-led musical styles, including songs for Captain Hook, the Scarecrow, Baba Yaga, the White Rabbit and Piglet. My role was to build a cohesive musical world while giving each character a distinct identity, balancing theatrical storytelling, orchestral colour and practical technical delivery for performance. The result was a fully realised original score and sound world designed to support the scale, energy and imagination of the production.
