CONCEPT

Blood Squad Seven: Strikefile #1 is a yearbook-style superhero special published by Image Comics. The story brings together characters from different generations of the team, combining large-scale action with personal rivalries and quieter character moments.

EXECUTION

I drew the full issue in pencils and inks, as well as the main cover. Working from the script, I handled a large cast of heroes, villains and military personnel, each with distinct costumes, builds and powers.

The pages required busy battle scenes, crowd sequences, close combat and clear transitions between different characters and locations. I used changes in composition, panel size, viewpoint and black-and-white contrast to keep the action readable and give the quieter scenes room to breathe.

RESULTS

The finished issue was published by Image Comics as Blood Squad Seven: Strikefile #1. The project shows my ability to draw a complete professional comic, manage a large superhero cast and maintain clear sequential storytelling through complicated action scenes.
