I worked with the Creative Director and Editor in Chief of Mess fashion magazine for their new 'Sustainability X Conscious' issue.

The idea of the magazine is to bring reports, interviews and articles from the world of high end fashion, photography and design. It includes interviews with CEOs of some the world's most renowned brands and reports from worldwide fashion weeks. This particular issue focused on sustainability and environmental consciousness.

A new layout and style was required for this issue. I took the inspiration from photography and created angled borders to reflect 'framing' a shot. A basic triple grid structure was created for the entire magazine but images were placed randomly (to a point) to highlight that high end fashion doesn't always play by the rules and also to represent the relative freedom in clothing design.

Bright, solid colours were also used to create impact. As all photography and top end fashion tends to do.

I was also required to do photoshop retouching on a number of images of models. This included adjusting colours, cleaning up skin, etc...
