Concept:
AI Commissioner is a short comedy sketch produced by Particle6, released in July 2025. Written and generated entirely using AI — with no human actors — the sketch playfully explores the future of TV development, using the world of broadcast commissioning as its setting.
The piece was conceived as an industry-facing proof of concept: a demonstration that AI could carry a narrative, perform characters, and deliver comedy without any human performers on screen. At its centre was Tilly Norwood, Particle6's AI-generated actress and the first creation to emerge from Xicoia, Particle6's AI talent studio.

Execution:
AI Commissioner was produced entirely through Particle6's AI pipeline. The script, characters, performances, and production were all generated using AI tools, with the human creative team directing and shaping the output rather than performing in it.
Tilly Norwood featured as the lead — her first screen role — alongside a cast of fully AI-generated characters. The sketch was built to demonstrate not just what AI could produce technically, but whether it could hold an audience through performance and storytelling.

Results:
AI Commissioner generated significant international press coverage and industry attention on release, with Tilly Norwood becoming the subject of widespread debate about the future of AI in film and television. The sketch was covered by major outlets across the US, UK, and beyond, and Norwood was subsequently introduced to the wider industry at the Zurich Film Festival in September 2025 — where multiple talent agencies expressed interest in representing her.
The project succeeded in its core purpose: to put Particle6 and the question of AI performance at the centre of one of the most contested conversations in the creative industries.
