ABOUT
Directed and edited by Dutch-Italian filmmaker Giovanni Bucci. With less than a week for pre-production, "Love & Meth" and also "Never Never" (the video for the band first single from their album 'The Paradigm Shift'), were filmed in their entirety across a brutally short two days.
Post carried out by Void and Disorder (Giovanni Bucci and Paola Rocchetti working together producing work for a broad range of clients in the advertising, broadcast, film and entertainment industries.)
What could be more foreign to the contemporary metal music of Korn than the world of symphonic orchestras? An orchestra conductor represents the disruptive element in the presence of someone's life, in the wake of which is hard to choose what to do and how to react. As the video unfolds his body contorts in the most unusual manners one can think of and it starts to be clear that something dark and evil has taken possession of him. Shot on location, edited and composited with 3D elements to emphasize the external evil force that takes over and manipulates both conductor and the band. The unavoidable dramatic havoc ensues.
My involvement with this project was at various levels: pre-production/creative, talent sourcing, 3D and motion graphics in post production.
