ABOUT
This Valentine's Day, Lacta, a chocolate brand that has become a symbol of love in Greece, decided to encourage Greeks to overcome stereotypes and see the love.
In a country not yet very open-minded when it comes to diversity, an art installation was placed in Syntagma Square, opposite the Greek parliament. Its purpose was to make everyone see that there is not only rage and anger around us for everything that is different, but also love and affection.
In order to convey our idea, we collaborated with Insane51, a world-renowned artist, who created 3 works with double images. That way, the public could choose, by looking through 3D glasses, which one of the two they wanted to see. If they looked through the blue filter, they could only see rejection and fear, whereas, if they looked through the red filter, they could see love. Thus, Lacta’s message of love was transmitted, showing Greeks, through an experiential way, that stereotypes exist, only if one chooses to see them.
