ABOUT

Every juror’s voice matters, but up until 2020, not in Oregon. The KKK helped pass a law to silence minority jurors. To convict whoever they wanted. Calvin Duncan, a renowned jailhouse lawyer, fought for decades to get the Supreme Court to hear the case. On his 23rd try, they did and ruled the law unconstitutional. But hundreds convicted before the decision are still in prison based on this racist law. Zealous was called into help build up a local campaign for justice for those still in prison.
