About us

I work with teams, leaders, and motivated individuals to speed up the evolution of their organisation towards a future where energised and self-directing teams organise around a compelling purpose, capable of fulfilling it quickly and effectively; and where the right supporting structures are in place to align disparate teams around the organisation's overall mission.
The work I do is a mix of training, coaching, facilitation and challenging the cultural assumptions in place. I'm not dogmatic about any frameworks or methodologies - I understand them but I'm dead set against the idea of “implementing” something to get magical results. I believe that approach simply doesn't work. Every organisation has its own unique context, possibilities and challenges - and even though some ideas are ubiquitous (such as the danger of “invisible” work or the hidden impact queues have on knowledge work) the approach needed for each organisation will be specific to it.

Although my background is in technology, I'm genuinely interested in all aspects of organisational design and operations - I work with finance directors, PMO, HR, marketing, distribution and operational teams as much as I do with product or software development teams.
