ABOUT

This section is a small selection of some previous work I've done outside of my educational career.
The Jewellery started as a hobby revolving around a small group I was part of for an after-school jewellery-making club that one of our members started in the library. This then grew beyond when the club faded away after the new building was opened for the school, even though I attempted to re-run the club myself. I have made and sold several pieces in the past, which are unfortunately not included in the photos provided.
The miniature clothes seen modelled by a Harumika toy were also a personal hobby that I started in school and have since used the scale a few times to sample my own human-sized designs and concepts, like in Gender Abstraction.
Both projects included are more craft-based and have developed my skills in hand-sewing and jewellery making equally.
