Updating this to incorporate the entire project from my Portfolio Module at UoP this year. Jurassic Treasures was the outcome of my print and garment designs based on Brief 1, inspired by brands such as Typical Freaks and Klements. Considering the unique and quirky themes of both brands' prints, I decided to utilise a Palaeontology connection to make that my theme, borrowing books as part of the research and concept phase. This quickly influenced a set of simple motifs that could then be combined with the vibrant colours, abstracted prints and free-drawn digital backgrounds seen in the final Portfolio boards I produced for the submission.
