As a copywriter, I have honed my skills in detail-oriented content creation, striking the right tone, and infusing a touch of clever humour. This can be seen in the sample work I have conceptualised, wrote and designed.
Within the social media management space, I have combined my passion for storytelling and strategy and pursued a Copywriting Certificate and a Digital Marketing certificate from Google, along with a Project Management Certificate from the University of California. This is a way to emphasise my commitment to staying on top of industry trends. These educational pursuits have further refined my ability to tailor content for digital audiences, and are attached for your perusal. In my freelance endeavours, I have garnered diverse experience across various projects and companies, cultivating adaptability in my writing and social media management.
Some of my achievements include;
- Being part of the team that runs the @CRC Church Social Media Accounts, with 45k Instagram and 121k Facebook followers
- Being on Netflix Africa's YouTube social media team
- Advising smaller brands and individuals on how to grow their reach, brand themselves well and take advantage of SEO and SEM analytics
- One of my clients, @thandyd_ on TikTok grew her channel from 500 to 20,000 followers from 9 September, reaching over 1 million accounts, and landing her first paid partnership as a result of my services. Success such as this is why I love copywriting and social media as it is a way to assist companies and individuals reach their goals.
