I led the design and user testing effort on this project. I created a functional prototype for my food deliver service app Preppr, where I explored how mood, dietary goals, finances, and health contributed to users’ eating decisions. Through the tone of voice, choice of words and facial expressions from users in the usability testing I was able to home in on the common responses for the affinity mapping. I used this feedback to prepare a problem statement focused on City professionals needing a way have consistently prepared meals after work to reduce cooking repetitiveness on low energy. I have worked closely with App Developers to understand how my payment gateways will help improve the accessibility of the app for users in different regions. This helped me to stay focused on the user’s need whilst maintaining the core features for the MVP, to keep the business objective in mind in the start-up phase.
