I was approached by British GQ to create a cover piece for their e-mag Hype Attack the Week. The edition I was working on was related to Brexit and how to prepare for an imaginary armageddon scenario. From seeing a previous piece of my work the client wanted the creative to be based on the idea of an airfix kit. I executed the illustration by creating a rough sketch to work from and then adding detailed vector shapes to create each piece of the cover. The result was a combination of different items, from gas mask, canned foods to police dog and crossbow which would all play a part in the imaginary worst case armageddon situation.
