Dear Sir/Madam,

I wish to express my interest in the position for junior copywriter.

I am a highly versatile and creative writer with extensive knowledge and experience in writing for a variety of platforms, both conventional and alternative. Currently working freelance for Henry Boot Developments, I have helped developed a new style of interactive presentation that bridges that gap between presenter and audience, as well as edited and proofread the bid brochure that sealed the deal on a multi-million pound refurbishing project. Even before working for HBD, I spent my time at Sheffield Hallam University constantly editing the works of students and producing copy that maintained the presence of student unions throughout the university, a skill that eventually had me working as the deputy editor-in-chief of 'Matter', SHU's flagship literary magazine for MA Writing students and professional writers.

With customer-based experience on my side from the three years of working for JD Wetherspoon, I also have outstanding acumen for high-stress situations that require effective team co-ordination and reliability, and a head-strong discipline towards short deadlines.
