ABOUT

Penguin Collectors Society is a group of enthusiasts for the good book design, typography, illustration, and writing. They study twentieth-century design, help to preserve Penguin Books and ensure the availability of this material.
For this purpose the society organised a competition on the redesign of their website, turning it into an engaging source of information.

During the project I analysed information on the website and created a new architecture, reducing 10 tabs on the current website to 4. The website is scalable to the needs of the society - the content on the main page is now easy to manage for the client, adding new information and current events on. I have also added cross links between different pages, mainly concentrating on directing users to the shop.
For the purpose of training, I have coded a version of this website from scratch using CSS / HTML / Js
