The aim of this project is to investigate the technology involved in goalkeeper gloves, and to investigate the most effective methods and technology to provide optimal performance.
Goalkeepers often struggle for grip when catching and throwing the ball, by adding a thicker layer of latex foam the grip of the glove is maximised. Goalkeeper gloves currently on the market tend to utilise long Velcro straps on the wrist band, which not only causes inconvenience but can take a while to take off.
