ABOUT
Dulux campaign reimagining 12 iconic novel covers using Dulux Heritage collection of luxury paint hues.
Working with Ogilvy UK and Dulux , creative and behavioural science teams analysed each book’s emotional narrative and matched this to hues that evoke the same mood and feelings.
The campaign empowers consumers to let the feelings of their favourite books become a reality on the walls of their homes - transforming the challenge and anxiety of choosing colour into an exciting and deeply personal experience.
The classic novels include The Hound of the Baskervilles, War of the Worlds, Nineteen Eighty-Four, Moby Dick, 12 Years a Slave, Frankenstein, Sense and Sensibility, Little Women, Wuthering Heights, Mrs Dalloway, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and Dracula.
Delighted to see article features from Campaign UK, The Drum, LBB (Little Black Book), Creative Salon Worldwide which we will be sharing soon.
Speaking to press about this project: “Sometimes I receive briefs that I know will be amazing. This was one of them. As a liquid specialist, the chance to work with Ogilvy to bring their stunning book designs to life using Dulux Heritage paint in both stills and film was a great privilege. I have always believed that the magic of compelling imagery lies in the capture of exquisite moments in camera, and that is exactly what we did here; to deliver truly genuine textures and patterns that depict these classic stories.”
Keep an eye out for this campaign on billboards, print, online, and social. More to come.
