ABOUT

SouthWest Trains brief was for a Double Royal poster idea and design that would increase ticket sales through the normally quiet mid-summer weekends. Our insight revealed that ‘summer - time is when people are spontaneous’. So looking at the summer music festival ‘fever’, we used this as a catalyst for the look & feel and proffered our ‘BIG IDEA’ - ‘Catch the summer fever’ with SouthWest Trains. The train is where the ‘FEVER’ begins, and the SouthWest, or London, is where it carries on. The client bought into this position and increased the media spend to include 48 Sheets, web banners, door drops, email, press and much more. The campaign won the first ATL account for Lateral Group establishing more credibility as a creative agency and performed above and beyond expectations, winning awards and increasing ticket sales for its whole run.
