The Change of Heart Exhibition and Workshops were such a success in 2013, a follow on Project at the Leicester Botanical Gardens was announced and The Visionary Landscape started in September 2014. I became the Emerging Artist, providing assistance in maintaining, delivering, and developing, Sculpture Workshops for disabled adults and children at the Gardens. Supporting the carers and individual participants, in particular I assisted a blind sculptor through the adult sessions and ran Experimental Drawing Workshops.

In the evenings as an artist in residence at the gardens, I developed my own sculptural practice using the gardens as inspiration and promoted the Visionary Landscapes Exhibition at the Gardens by talking with members and visitors. Providing critical feedback and evaluating the workshops in documentation, we are also providing research and implementing a new Learning Resource for the Gardens.

The project culminates with three new permanent Bronze Sculptures for the Gardens, designed and part made by the Children in the Sculpture Workshops. Due to be installed in February 2015.
