A collection of alpha - matte sketches. Found out a way to make quick terrain/environment sketches by watching some of David Paget tutorials. It makes use of photo textures being turned into brushes with bit of photoshop magic and voila. What's really great about this method is that it assists in making the artist focus a lot on values and contrast, which is very helpful for making more realistic looking pieces later in the painting stages.
