Why do we need ‘raise awareness’ of NSPCC? Our research tells us that when asked 97% of people know we exist and 60% of people know we protect children from abuse and neglect.
But that’s where it ends. Unless asked, they don’t often think of us all. Except in bad times. 
Our name is the National Society for PREVENTION of cruelty to children.
We need to show people that abuse can be prevented, and that they can prevent abuse.
By giving people learning, advice and support to do this in their everyday lives.
We wanted to show that NSPCC is the organisation people turn to when it comes to keeping children safe – and we want everyone to play their part.
There’s lots of families, parents and carers out there, looking for support and easy to understand advice that they can trust.
The NSPCC is there for them and together, we can keep children safe.
