Sir Terry Farrell has proposed a master plan for the sea front area of Folkestone, Kent. This area stretches from the Harbour arm, along the beach, to the Leas Cliff Vernacular Lift. The development includes various housing solutions and beach accommodation, as well as retail bar areas.
I was asked to design a continuation of Sir Farrell's master plan by producing my own plan for 16-20 beach huts, with additional retail and bar units. One of these beach huts was then looked at to a larger scale, taking into account the need to accommodate a minimum of two adults and a child overnight.
