Vanquis lend to the people other banks say no to. They do this via a credit card that helps customers improve their credit rating. Our insight into the audience was surprising. Contrary to popular opinion, they are canny and informed about money, and simply find themselves squeezed financially. They want to focus on the future, not the past, and so our Brand Idea was about Vanquis giving them confidence. Expressed creatively as ‘Walk Tall’.

Our memorable asset for the campaign was – of course – a walking cat, to the tune of Val Doonican’s ‘Walk Tall’.
