Sound and Vision Brief: Promoting the British Library to new audiences
This project explores the effects of noise pollution on natural habitats and the human psyche. It has been inspired by the natural segment of the British Library sound archive.
Since the industrial revolution natural sounds have been lost from our urban soundscape.
My use of data bending as a methodology of work, acted as a metaphor for disruption and a signifier of this loss. It served as a tool that reflects the effects of noise pollution on natural habitats and the human psyche.
