This brief required us to choose an anniversary from the past, present and/or future and translate it into a piece of typographic wonderment. My chosen anniversary was The Woman’s March on Washington 2017, which I have linked to the 1913 Suffrage march on Washington. After looking at the history I found that there was a newspaper that was released at the time of the suffrage period, called Woman’s Journal and so based on this my concept was to create a modern-day edition of Woman’s journal that covers the march of 2017.
