My name is Nikki Thompson I have recently relocated from New Zealand to the UK. I am a Graphic Designer looking for a full time position in a fun and creative Design Company, one which will make best use of my existing skills and experience and also further my personal development.

I have worked for several years full time as a Creative Designer across different industries and organisations. I am comfortable coordinating all areas of the Design Process, starting with clarification of clients briefs, producing innovative design concepts and solutions through to print ready stage. I am a well organised, versatile and intuitive designer. I am looking for an opportunity to work in a team of experienced professionals, with whom I can continue to develop as a Creative Designer and Visual Communicator.

My Qualifications

Graduated as Top Student 2004 Bay of Plenty Polytechnic 2004 Certificate in Design.

I have worked for several years full time in the Design / Print / Advertising industry and have acquired a vast knowledge in all areas of the design process.

I am confidant and have an extensive knowledge of Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Macromedia Freehand and Microsoft Office, along with various in-house database management programmes.

I have a clean, full drivers licence.

I have had 7 years experience with printing agencies local and New Zealand wide. I have extensive knowledge of pre-press functionalities and file specifications.
