I have worked in Creative/Visual Merchandising & Store Design for 20 years, primarily within fashion and beauty, but also within fragrance, accessory and home. I have extensive experience of UK markets and EMEA/ Global brands. The customer experience is at the heart of everything I do, and the goal is to continually raise the bar by being creative, innovative & thinking limitlessly.
I have worked in luxury and high street environments in both a head office and field capacity - incorporating retail, wholesale and franchises. This has allowed me to develop a thorough understanding of both the operational, project management and conceptual creative process within the industry.
I am highly creative with an accomplished commercial and strategic awareness. From concept and design through to implementation, I am hands on, and enjoy collaborating and forming relationships with both suppliers and agencies to deliver unique projects and omnichannel experiences.
Lecturing has allowed me to utilise my expertise and experience to educate and engage students about the retail world, and guide them through the theory and vocational skills necessary to work within the industry. I have recently become a Fellow of the British Display Society and hope to utilise this to help and encourage more people to explore this avenue.
Currently working on my own clothing design business and as a Creative Director for a start up nightlife App launching next year.
