About me

I relocated to England from the US in May 2008 with a valid UK work permit. In the US, I was employed as a Senior Research Analyst with a major US based insurance company - State Farm Insurance for the User Centred Design and Research department. At State Farm, I have worked on multiple projects involving client and project team interactions and developing technologies such as Tablet PC, Unified Communications and web portals. I have completed my PHD in Industrial Engineering with specialization in Human Factors at Clemson University, USA, leading a team to develop a Web-based Surveillance and Auditing Tool (WebSAT) at FedEx. Prior to Clemson, I was employed at Electronic Ink, USA, as a Human Factors Analyst where my job activities included adopting user centred design (UCD) approach, screen designs/ wireframes, usability testing and reporting results. Some of the key clients were NYSE, Oppenheimer Funds, MBNA and Quadramed. I believe I have good communication skills and am a strong advocate of the end user.
