I have made a series of pencils that communicate colour to the blind. Most are blind from birth, and have never seen colour before. The pencils communicate the colours in weight form. The light colours are light to pick up, whilst the dark colours are heavy. There is also a sketch book that completes the set, which has a sheet of special material at the back, which is laid underneath the paper, so the kids can feel what they have created after.
