My clients are a coaching company and like their attendees to actively take part in the sessions. This particular brief was done at very short notice, just a week's turn around time.
They wanted something fun and related to the sea/sailing. After a brainstorming session we all decided a seaside type banner was the best way to go. The client liked the idea of a sailor steering the ship, reflecting how after their sessions, attendees are more able to steer their lives to new areas.
I also suggested a give away that attendees could also 'play' with - a tanagram puzzle. I designed it in the shape of a boat, branded with their logo. I hand cut 25 copies for them.
