Dear CollectiveI am applying for your Project Manager position advertised on the Creative Pool website. I believe I am a suitable candidate for the position and can make a valuable contribution to your clientâ€(TM)s team. I have already worked as a Digital Portfolio/Product Manager for a multi-national pay television company (MultiChoice and the DStv brand) based in Johannesburg, South Africa and have done so for more than four and a half years. Although this was a client side position, it was for an entertainment company and afforded me the opportunity to work with many local and international partners, marketers, brand managers, designers, developers and managers. My outputs included many of the responsibilities you would look for in the perfect Project Manager, including: working with internal business units, vendors and customers, content aggregation and creation, project management, research, presenting of concepts, operational running of websites, newsletters and digital campaigns and an excellent understanding of the technical and media landscape.I have a Bachelor of Journalism and Media Studies with a specialisation in Communication Design and have just completed my Masters.I am a hard-working and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
