Originally a German format, Dating Naked was acquired by Paramount+ for a UK adaptation. Rather than going the traditional route and commissioning a well-established reality producer, Paramount made a bold decision — they asked Nest to take on the entire project directly.
It was a first.
We weren’t just supporting another indie; we were handed full creative and operational responsibility for an ambitious, sensitive, and logistically complex format. From day one, we knew we had to deliver more than a great show. We had to prove that a different kind of production company could take the lead. One that puts care, trust, and operational precision at the centre of everything.
We built a team of over 200 UK freelancers and relocated everyone to South America. Every aspect from casting to logistics, editorial leadership to legal and compliance was managed by Nest. Given the nature of the format, the duty of care implications were significant. So we developed a comprehensive 189-page welfare guide in-house, setting clear, enforceable standards for cast and crew wellbeing. It was read, respected and implemented and helped create a safe, professional environment in one of the most challenging production settings we’ve ever worked in.
The result was Dating Naked UK with Rylan presenting - a joyful, unfiltered hit that went on to become Paramount+’s most-watched unscripted show of 2024. But more than that, it became proof of what’s possible when a broadcaster places full trust in a partner who takes care of everything — and everyone. We are now in post-production for season 2.
