ABOUT
It's currently estimated that 900,000 people in the UK have dementia. Many are undiagnosed and facing the realities of their condition alone. The Alzheimer's Society, with the help of its supporters, is changing that through funding research into the cause, cure, and prevention of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease.
This campaign attempted to bring to life the debilitating symptoms of sufferers. Memory loss, difficulties with thinking, and everyday problem-solving were put into a simple context for our audience to associate with and understand better. The campaign used powerful imagery, with graphic computer error pop-up messages and error icons to illustrate the frustration, anger, and hopelessness of those living with the disease, which leaves them stuck in a holding pattern, unable to function.
