Traffic of Things is a printed textile collection part of an exhibition called Design & Make taking place at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design's 1 Granary Building. A selection of the fabrics produced for the Traffic of Things Collection was featured on WGSN's SS19 Menswear and Womenswear forecast: Creative Manifesto.

Printed on neoprene, ripstop, sequins and mesh, this kinetic textile collection designed in post-modernist aesthetics experiments with surface for women's activewear.

The prints technically incorporate heat-transferred one-off placements and repeats that are then enhanced with surface manipulation techniques such as embroidery, beading, flocking, laser cutting, layering and binding.

Bringing motion into focus, the inspiration behind the collection is a series of time-lapse videos taken around London documenting the continuous acceleration of the city with the purpose of being projected on the printed textiles.
