ABOUT

The brief was to create a lead image or sequence for the title page of Nature's Future Of AI special feature. Somewhat of a follow up to the Powering Up animation done some three years earlier. This one was to be more typographic. I was given free reign to develop the ideas.

Playing with the negative space from the dot of the 'i' shooting into the 'A'. Having this form a high-tech arrow. Alluding to future direction.

Echoing the idea from the original of having interlocking shapes, this time as slim components with fibre optic light patterns inside. When animating in a simple rotation as one unit, thin film surface material changes colour as it spins.

Ironically, no AI was used in the making of this.
