ABOUT

In Thailand, household chores remain largely a mother’s responsibility, reflected in the packaging designs, logos and names of many household products and home appliances that still use the image of a mother.

On Mother’s Day, Colonel Sanders, Father of KFC, sought out the most iconic ‘mothers’ in Thai household brands, and took over their duties! By changing the logos and packaging from these iconic moms to Colonel Sanders, we inspired fathers nationwide to take over chores in their own households. We served excitement on KFC and our partner brands’ social media, and sent real products of these daily essentials to the countertops in real homes, reminding dads every day to Let Mom Rest. Because household chores should be everyone’s chore, not just mom’s.

At the end of the campaign, KFC gained 55.2% sales increase with 6.6M PR value and 4.6M media value.
