About me

To whom it may concern,

I am currently working as a Graphic Designer within a volunteer capacity for the charity 'Friends of the Earth'. This role has provided me with fantastic experience of following a clients brief and producing graphics to their specifications.

My skills lie predominantly with Adobe's Photoshop, In-Design and illustrator but I am a true creative at heart with other interests in painting, freehand illustration, photography and video editing.

During the course of study for the Bachelor of Arts I gained a wealth of experience of creating and moulding a project from concept to polished article. On a weekly basis I would be required to print highly detailed story boards and present my work to large audiences. Efficient research, project management, problem solving, attention to detail and layout skills were key to success for the degree.

Teamwork, good organisation and working within tight deadlines are integral parts of life within the armed forces of which I have 7 years experience while serving with the Royal Air Force. I am very self motivated and so can perform equally well while working alone. I have enjoyed a balance of both working styles to date and am comfortable within either role.

I would greatly appreciate the privilege of discussing what I can bring to this role with you in more detail. I am available to attend an interview with minimal notice. If you wish to discuss anything in connection to my application, please contact me on .

Thank you for taking the time to review my application. I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards,

Nathan Wood
